Katarina Baćović, Marijan Vuljaj, Ivica Piperović and Nikola Milačić, the suspects in the "Tunel" case, were detained for up to 72 hours after they were questioned at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica.
Prosecutor Nađa Martinović ordered their detention.
One of Piperović's legal representatives, lawyer Stefan Jovanović, told "Vijesti" that his client denied guilt.
Piperović, who is represented by lawyers Jovanović and Zoran Piperović, is charged with criminal conspiracy, aggravated theft and obstruction of evidence.
"He has been detained by the prosecutor and will be brought before a judge for investigation within the legal term. The level of suspicion in a specific case is based on circumstantial evidence, i.e. the telling of 'hearsay', from which it is clear that our defendant has no connection with the criminal acts in question for which he is charged," said Jovanović.
He added that last night the police officers searched the properties used by Ivica Piperović - the house and auxiliary buildings on the property.
"Even police officers excavated certain parts of his land and the adjoining property, but absolutely nothing was found that would incriminate him for any criminal offense prosecuted ex officio, nor anything stolen from the High Court depot in Podgorica," said lawyer Jovanović.
Although Katarina Baćović was supposed to testify first, her hearing was postponed because a lawyer from Belgrade did not accept to represent her, "Vijesti" was told unofficially earlier.
Vuljaj, Ivica Piperović and Nikola Milačić were arrested last night after interrogation by the Podgorica police on suspicion of being connected to the robbery of the High Court depot.
MA was released after questioning as it was determined that he was not part of the same criminal group.
The three were deprived of their liberty after the police arrested fugitive Katarina Baćović yesterday afternoon.
The Basic State Prosecutor's Office charges suspects Nikola Milačić and Ivica Piperović with the criminal offense of criminal association and aggravated theft, as it is believed that they were directly in charge during the digging of the tunnel from the basement of the building to the depot of the High Court in Podgorica.
Marjan Vuljaj is charged with the criminal offense of aiding the perpetrator after the crime has been committed, because in the previous part of the investigation, the prosecutors obtained information that he rented Katarina Baćović's apartment in the City quarter, where she had been hiding since September 11, when a secret passage was found. downtown.
For now, Vuljaj is not connected with the fact that he had other connections with criminal associations and persons who are suspected of digging tunnels and stealing weapons and rummaging through items from the High Court depot.
