The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje opened a case regarding the fire that happened yesterday at 17.30:4 p.m. in Bijelo Polje, in Milorada Šćepanovića Street, in one of the apartments in the Lamela XNUMX residential building.
The ODT reminded that upon arriving at the scene, the Protection and Rescue Service localized and extinguished the fire, and the Emergency Medical Service team provided assistance to the vulnerable persons in a timely manner.
"Six people were admitted to the Emergency Block for further assistance. In order to shed light on this event, the prosecutor on duty ordered the police officers of the Bijelo Polje District Police Administration to take measures and actions," the announcement.

The investigation was carried out by duty prosecutor Danilo Mrdak in the presence of fire protection expert Radovan Popović and electrical expert Milutin Ostojić, according to the previous orders, as well as authorized police officers, during which traces were removed from the person who will be the subject of the expert examination.
"After the submitted findings and other collected evidence, the cause of the fire will be known, about which the public will be informed in a timely manner and a final decision will be made," they said in a statement from the ODT.
