Petar Belojević (34) from Podgorica was arrested on suspicion of having attacked and seriously injured fellow citizen Miloš Jovanović (34) two nights ago in Podgorica.
According to the information of "Vijesti", Belojević hit Jovanović in the head with a bottle after a brief argument and caused him serious injuries.
After Jovanović fell to the floor, Belojević allegedly kicked him in the body area.
"It is suspected that in the night between November 7 and 8, in front of a restaurant in the capital, he physically attacked the injured party by hitting him in the head with a glass bottle, as a result of which the injured party fell to the asphalt surface, then struck several blows with his hands and feet in the head and body area. After that, PB hit the victim again with a glass bottle in the head area, and then with a chair that was nearby, in the head and body area," the Police Administration announced .
It is added that Jovanović sustained serious physical injuries in the form of a fractured nasal bone with dislocation, as well as an injury to a blood vessel on his head, which were noted in the report of a specialist doctor at the Clinical Center of Montenegro.
"Vijesti" learned that Belojević was handcuffed after he surrendered today.
