Mario Milošević and the alleged Podgorica cell of the Kavac clan were accused yesterday of the attempted murder of a journalist Oliver Lakic and murder Miodrag Migi Kruščić.
They are included in the indictment of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT). Milan Vujotić, a former police officer Darko Lalović, Filip Knezevic, Milošević, a former police special officer Goran Rakočević, Veselin Bubanja, Filip Bešović, Luka Bulatović, Dejan Vukašinović, Branislav Karadzic, Goran Vukcevic, Mijalo Stojanovic, Aleksandar Ljumović i Sanja Božović.
Prosecutor and spokesperson of SDT Vukas Radonjic announced that the subject of the indictment, in addition to the attack on journalist Lakić and the murder of Kruščić, is the smuggling of 554 kilograms of marijuana from Albania to Montenegro on January 26, 2021.
"The indictment proposed that the detention of the defendant MM be extended, due to the existence of circumstances that indicate a risk of escape and that he will repeat the crime, that the defendants MV, A.Lj. and the FC judge in absentia, because they are on the run or otherwise unreachable by state authorities, while the other defendants are serving a sentence or in custody in other criminal cases or have been released after the maximum period of detention in an investigation by law has expired and that while the proceedings were in progress before the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica", reads Radonjić's announcement.
Journalist Lakić was wounded in the leg on May 8, 2018, in front of the door of the building where she lives, in Podgorica, and 13 days later, on May 21, 2018, Miodrag Kruščić was killed while he was sitting in the "Palat" bar in Podgorica.
The killer had a silicone mask and approached Kruščić from behind and fired nine bullets into him.
The video surveillance video showed the masked killer approaching Kruščić, and then jumping off the chair and knocking over the table. The killer approached and shot Kruščić at close range.
The investigation into the attempted murder of the journalist and the murder of Kruščić lasted five years and seven months, and transcripts from the encrypted Sky application, which were provided to Montenegrin investigators by the European Union Law Enforcement Agency, show that the now arrested policeman Petar Lazovic tried to prevent the investigation into the attempted murder of Lakić.
He did this after he Bajram Pista decided to admit to the special prosecutors his role and that of the other defendants in that crime, stems from his communication with criminals and an escaped colleague Ljubo Milović.
Pista was arrested on April 29, 2019. Then he remained silent in front of the investigators for more than a year. After he spoke, however, Lazović made a strategy to protect the person who ordered the assassination attempt, whom he addresses as Ribić.
From the messages exchanged by the members of the organized criminal group, the Kavački clan shows that they call Filip Knežević by that nickname.
Lazović communicates with Milović via that protected application on November 20, 2020 and asks him to talk to Commit - Radoj Zvicer, to agree on who to send for a polygraph test and thus refute what Pista admitted.
After Milović refused to interfere in that illegal business, Lazović communicated about it with Zvicer, to whom he sent a message the same day:
"What I asked you then...everything starts from him. Bubanja tells Bajrm Pista that he followed Olja for the interest of Filip. Pista went to the polygraph and passed the polygraph that Bubanja was telling him that... If Bubanja lied, then let's get him to go to the polygraph to clear Ribić to begin with, because the SKP is constantly pressing, calling the prosecution that it's about Ribić... Do you know this little Bešović? Because I'm going to help clean up Ribić for your sake, and then warn Bešović if it's in your interest to talk less and mess with weed, because some information has arrived," Lazović writes to the head of the bar.
That day, he sent him dozens of messages in which he insisted that Bubanja take a polygraph, on his word, and said that "it has nothing to do with Olja"...
"Bubanja should take a polygraph on my word that it has nothing to do with Olja and we will clean everything slowly and take Bunja out... Bubanja. You say that he should go for a polygraph on my word regarding only Olja and with our polygraphist. I'm going with him... when he's clean, he's in pain and then we help her and Ribić take that burden off them... Brother, Pisto didn't solve anything except for Mujović and there was something about drugs, weed, etc. with the Albanians. .. He passed that Bubanja told him, I'm going to help, I wanted to take Bubanja to Olja for a polygraph and cover it up, because I didn't want to take him for processing when he was arrested, because he's on your side... I I'm just going to help you, I buried my 3-year-old son who is everything to me, but I have to find something to support them myself. We clean them - and then let's help Mario... I'm here and it's not just about me, that I can do as I want, there are a lot of scumbags and traitors and you can't talk honestly with everyone", Lazović writes to Zvicer...
Two days later, Zviter confesses to him that Bubanja was already messed up on the polygraph once, and told him that he had his DNA for the murder in Auto Zeta, when he died Ivan Nedović...
Lazović once again excuses himself that none of his members were mistreated, that it must have been done by some other police department, and then insists for days that the clan should be spared the charges of attempted murder of a journalist, but the head of the bar is adamant that Bubanja will no longer take the polygraph.
On the last day of October of that year, he sends a message to Zvicer in which he swears that "so my son and father lived" and that "we never harassed anyone because of a movinarka, nor did we deliberately take an object from Enes Baković...
"Dad didn't let Knežević Filip Ribić be blamed, because what they brought to him from SKP... So they weakly told you that we were the harassers, but we didn't accept their evidence that they had, because Z didn't want Olja and Mario to accept those two items," the policeman writes to the head of the bar.
The Swiss then tells him that he is Nikola Drecun recognized him as the policeman who abused him in order to "spy" and accuse everyone, and Lazović continues to justify himself:
"Yes, the answer on the polygraph that he has nothing to do with Olja and that he's a smoker... But that makes me laugh because he has some kind of international warrant... I'd tell you like To Kilibard i Pejović, I would tell you the same about Ribić," insisted Lazović.

After an argument in which Zviter very rudely says that Bubanja will no longer take the polygraph and that the police lied that he failed the polygraph earlier, Lazović excuses himself that his team did not interrogate him, but that maybe it was Baković's.
"Mali will not lie to us, nor should he", says Zvicer and explains to Lazović that he will compose a message on his behalf apologizing for the policemen "lying" about DNA...
