The Special State Prosecutor's Office (STP) submitted an indictment against 11 defendants to the Special Department for the Trial of Organized Crime, Corruption, Terrorism and War Crimes of the High Court in Podgorica: MJ, TJ, DV, BV, S. Đ., SZ, A. Đ., FK, MM, A. Lj. and NP, for the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization, organized for the purpose of smuggling narcotic drugs in Montenegro, neighboring countries and European Union countries, against MJ, A.Lj., NP and A.Đ., for the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and placing in the trafficking of narcotic drugs, and against MM for the criminal offenses of illegal possession of weapons and explosive materials, due to the unauthorized sale of firearms, and aggravated murder by incitement.

"All criminal acts, as there is reasonable suspicion, were committed in 2021 and 2022. In the indictment, it is proposed to extend the detention of seven defendants, to try the two who are on the run and for whom international warrants have been issued, to be tried in absentia. , while two defendants are in the Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions, serving prison sentences for earlier convictions," the SDT press release says.
