Criminal charges will be filed against MB due to the suspicion that he committed forest theft, the Police Administration announced today.
The press release states that yesterday, in the Lužac settlement in Berane, in the yard of the house used by the MB, the Beran police found 29 logs with a total volume of 12,3 m3.
"For the assortments found, MB did not have proof of origin," the announcement states.
The Police Administration added that the republican forest inspector made a report.
"The police collected information from the MB, and the prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane was informed of everything, who classified it as a criminal offense and ordered the officers of the Forestry Administration to seize the wood assortments," the statement of the Police Administration reads.
