The Special State Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment in the case of illegal loans from the Abu Dhabi Fund against former Ministers of Agriculture Petar Ivanović and Budimir Mugoša.
Former director of the Investment and Development Fund Zoran Vukčević, as well as Blagota Radulović, former director of the Directorate for Payments in the Ministry of Agriculture and appraiser Milan Adžić are also on the indictment.
"Today, the Special State Prosecutor's Office submitted an indictment against the defendants, the former ministers of agriculture and rural development and the former director of the Directorate for IPARD payments in the then Ministry of Agriculture and of rural development - P.I., B.M. and B.R., due to the existence of a well-founded suspicion that they committed a prolonged criminal offense of abuse of official position, during the allocation of funds from the loan of the Abu Dhabi Development Fund, in the period from 2015 to 2017, the prosecutor in the SDT told the News - in Vukas Radonjić.
He explained that Vukčević is charged with negligent work in the service, and Adžić with the criminal offense of misuse of assessment.
"...Because there is a well-founded suspicion that by their actions they benefited the business company 'IMGradina' DOO Rožaje, and severely violated the rights and caused damage to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the process of settling claims from the loan agreement from the given collateral," Radonjić said. .
The prosecutor points out that the investigation has been suspended in relation to the defendant legal entities "Vektra-Jakic", "Milkraft Leche", "HM Durmitor", "EKO-PER", "IMGradina", as well as the responsible persons in those companies - Dragan Brković, Krsto Knežević, Vladimir Kujundžić, Džemal Škrijelj and Ljub Perišić...
Prosecutor Radonjić acted in that case on March 31, after the files were confiscated from his colleague Marija Raspopović.
That prosecutor has been investigating the distribution of funds since 2019, when an investigation was launched due to the spending of $23 million that the Ministry of Agriculture received from the Abu Dhabi Development Fund in 2015.
After the launched investigation, but also the change of government at the state level, in November 2021, at the request of the SDT, the Parliament lifted the immunity of the then deputy Ivanović. He was heard before Radonjić at the end of October 2023, when he denied guilt...
