The decision on the transfer of police officer Igor Rmandić from Herceg Novi to Bijelo Polje was annulled.
This was announced by the Independent Police Union, whose president is Rmandić.
It is added that Rmandić is "returning to work where he lived and worked for the past 27 years".
"Confirming that the aforementioned scheduling decision is illegal and canceling it confirmed what we have been pointing out from the beginning. The complete disregard for the law, the application of pure legal violence and the incredible amount of arrogance of the previous management of the Police Directorate and the Ministry of the Interior have finally been exposed and brought to justice. and justice. The apathy of the previous group that managed the Ministry of Interior and the Police Administration is best reflected in the complete ignoring of the arguments of numerous lawyers, lawyers, trade unions from the country, the environment, but also Europe and the world, who pointed to illegalities when making a decision on the assignment to a place far away more than 250 kilometers from the place of residence," the announcement reads.
They add that not even the fact that the International Confederation of Trade Unions, in a letter sent to the then Government, NUP and the Police Directorate, clearly warned that such treatment of union representatives could be an obstacle in Montenegro's accession negotiations with the European Union democracies' have already put personal vanity, resentment and hatred before the interests of the state of Montenegro and every citizen".
"All the duplicity and hypocrisy of the makers of this illegal decision, as well as those who participated in it, is best reflected these days when those who did everything to ruin the police organization today show the greatest concern for us by pointing out what should be fixed. They, in things, they are just inventing a 'hole in the pot' because the Independent Police Union of Montenegro has had the same demands and proposals since its foundation and because of that we were persecuted, discriminated against, humiliated. Open, undisguised mobbing was carried out against our members, all with the aim of stifling trade union activism and the protection of their personal interests. In spite of all the adversity and problems we faced, which were not at all harmless, we remained strong and united," reads, among other things, in the announcement of the Independent Police Union.
