55 people were arrested in Montenegro over the weekend for driving under the influence of alcohol and psychoactive substances, the Police Administration announced.
It is stated that 20 drivers were arrested in Podgorica, nine in Nikšić and five in Danilovgrad.
As reported, the traffic police registered 42 traffic accidents in which one person died.
The police said that ten people were slightly injured, and two more seriously.
The police filed 210 misdemeanor reports and issued 1.126 misdemeanor warrants.
In the announcement of the Police Administration, it is stated that 13 pairs of license plates were confiscated and the same number of vehicles were excluded from traffic.
