The Prosecutorial Council (PS) will publish an advertisement for the selection of 11 state prosecutors in basic state prosecutor's offices at the level of Montenegro and for four prosecutors in the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, according to the promotion system.

That decision was made at today's session of the Court of Justice, which was presided over by Supreme State Prosecutor Milorad Marković.

The council, as announced, made a decision on the selection of the prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Podgorica, Denis Zvrka, as the head of the ODT in Ulcinj.

It is stated that ten complaints about the work of state prosecutors and heads of state prosecution offices were considered at the session regarding the legality of their work.

"It was assessed that one complaint was founded, eight unfounded, while for one complaint it was decided to submit it to the members of the Prosecutor's Council for review and possible further action," reads the statement published on the Council's website.

As it is added, the proposal was unanimously adopted to appoint Council member Stevo Muk as a member of the Working Group for Drafting the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on the State Prosecutor's Office, in addition to the representative of TS Miloš Vuksanović, bearing in mind that the president of the Commission for Normative activity.

It was announced from TS that the proposal to appoint Miroslav Turković as a member of the Steering Committee of the Council of Europe project "Strengthening the judicial system and improving the rights of victims in Montenegro" was unanimously adopted.
