The trial of the defendants for the murder of Šćepan Roganović in Herceg Novi on February 13, 2020, continued today in the High Court in Podgorica. In this case, two court proceedings were merged, the indictment included the defendants Igor Vukotić, Mili Bajramović, Krsto Vujić, Marko Radović, Igor Glavaš, Miloš Komar, Slavko Radulović, Miloš Gvozdenović and Dino Ibrahimović.
Vukotić, Bajramović and Vujić are being tried in absentia because they are on the run. All the defendants denied their guilt.
The accused Igor Glavaš stated that he does not admit guilt.
“I don't feel guilty. I'm not going to defend myself. I will not answer questions", he declared.
Accused Dino Ibrahimović stood by the allegations of the defense that he presented before the court.
"I do not know the defendants Igor Vukotić, Slavko Radulović, Miloš Gvozdenović and Marko Radović," he stated.
Accused Miloš Komar maintained his earlier defense and added that he did not know the "new faces" who were accused.
Accused Slavko Radulović also denied the commission of the crime.
"I am not a member of any criminal organization. The indictment lists persons whom I do not know and whom I have never met, except for Miloš Gvozdenović. I have business cooperation with him regarding vehicle registration and technical inspection. I also know Božović Srđa on business, he also registered vehicles with me, and I used his bodywork services. I am a family man, I support five children, so this indictment caused a big problem for me. The indictment stated that I started to flee from Montenegro. I have left Montenegro and returned many times on business. I never had the intention of running away and I never used SKY", claims Radulović.
Accused Miloš Gvozdenović denied committing the crime.
"I haven't been to Herceg Novi for the last ten years. I only know Slavko Radulović here, with whom I had my vehicle serviced. I don't know anyone from Herceg Novi. I didn't even know the now deceased Šćepan Roganović. I heard about him from the media. I have my own company and I don't have the slightest need to deal with illegal things and crime. The indictment states that I suggested to Slavko Radulović to change the number plates. That is not true. I also deny that any person left me 1,080 euros for Slavko Radulović, which was taken from me and was not acquired illegally, but legally," the accused Gvozdenović claims.
The accused Marko Radović also denied the commission of the criminal offense and the allegations in the indictment.
"I deny guilt. I am not a member of the criminal organization accused of murdering Šćepan Roganović. I know Milij Bajramović "health for health", from the disco "La Bamba". "I had a fair relationship with Roganović. I never used SKY," said the accused Radović.
Attorney Maja Turković, who represents the injured Roganović family, told the court that as the legal representative of the family where a young man was brutally murdered, she objects to all the statements of the accused.
"I believe that the statements are untrue, worded in such a way as to avoid criminal responsibility and that they contradict the evidence collected during the prosecutor's investigation," lawyer Turković pointed out. Roganović.
The defendants are Krsto B. Vujić from Herceg Novi, on the run, Mili B. Bajramović aka "Smit" from Podgorica, Igor D. Glavaš from Herceg Novi, Dino A. Ibrahimović from Bar, Miloš B. Komar from Nikšić.
According to the indictment, in September 2019, in Herceg Novi, Vujić organized a criminal organization, whose members were Miloš Đuričković, and the defendants Bajramović, Glavaš, Ibrahimović, Komar and others unidentified, one of whom is nicknamed "Boki" and the second "Zemunac".
As the organizer, Vujić was in charge of implementing a criminal plan for an unspecified number of serious murders and illegal possession of weapons. Đuričković was in charge of carrying out the instructions and orders of the organizers of the criminal organization. The other defendants were also in charge of carrying out the instructions and orders of the organizers of the criminal organization, while Bajramović is alleged in the indictment to directly commit the crimes of aggravated murder and to participate in their planning.
The indictment states that the defendant Vujić Krsto committed the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization from Article 401a paragraph 1 in connection with paragraph 6 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro, and the defendants Bajramović, Glavaš, Ibrahimović and Komar committed the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization from Article 401a paragraph 2 in regarding paragraphs 1 and 6 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro.
The prosecutor alleges that in order to implement the criminal plan, the defendants Vujić, Đuričković and the defendants Bajramović and Glavaš, on February 13, 2020, at around 09:05 a.m., in Herceg Novi, on the stairs, in Sima Matavulja Street, in front of house number 21, killed killed Šćepan Roganović, in co-perpetration and by prior agreement.
In the way that Miloš Đuričković and the defendant Vujić Krsto, by making a joint decision, contributed to the execution of the criminal act with intent. So that Đuričković drove the defendants Vujić Krsta and Milija Bajramović with his golf V vehicle from the apartment "Viva" number 4 where they were staying, to the place "Baterije", where there was a parked motorcycle of the brand "pjađo", which was purchased and used as a means of transport during the commission of the criminal offense of aggravated murder of Šćepan Roganović. According to a previous agreement, he was waiting for them in the place "Dragomir" in order to accept and transport them after the crime was committed from the said place to the apartment where they were staying.
Bajramović Mili premeditatedly killed Šćepan Roganović in an insidious way, by armed with a firearm he came to the park with the bust of Sim Matavulj, waited for the arrival of the injured Šćepan Roganović who was coming down the stairs from the direction of Kanli Kula in the direction of Nikola Đurković Square, and suddenly, on busy place, when the injured party did not expect it, approached him with quick steps and, without discussing a verbal conflict, fired projectiles from the "Crvena Zastava" brand pistol, six of which hit him. After that, the defendant Bajramović fled in the direction of Bokeljška Brigade Street, where he the defendant Vujić Krsto was waiting on a pjađo motorcycle", after which both of them drove away with the said motorcycle to the place of Sasoviće, where they set fire to the said motorcycle and the "Crvena Zastava" model 99 pistol.
The defendants Vujić and Bajramović, as co-perpetrators, committed the criminal offense of aggravated murder, while the defendant Bajramović committed the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosive substances, and the defendant Glavaš committed the criminal offense of aggravated murder by aiding and abetting. The second indictment, which was filed in September 2023, accused Igor V. Vukotić from Kotor, who is on the run, Slavko Radulović, Miloš Ž. Gvozdenović from Podgorica and Marko T. Radović from Hereg Novi.
The indictment stated that in the second half of 2019, and during 2020, they became members of a criminal organization organized by Krsto Vujić. Accused Radović is also charged with the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosive material.
In November 2023, the extra-judicial panel of the High Court in Podgorica, presided over by Judge Boris Savić, issued a decision to merge these two criminal cases and to conduct a single procedure.
Previously, the special state prosecution, along with the indictment from September last year, suggested that these criminal proceedings be combined, which the court accepted.
