Zoran Žuti Đukanović from Nikšić was arrested last night in a major operation by the Special State Prosecutor's Office and the Special Police Department against a strong cigarette smuggling chain.
According to the SDT, the suspect Đukanović played an important role in the organization of cigarette smuggling in a well-developed scheme over the years.
He was arrested as part of the investigation during which Aleksandar Aco Mijajlović, Golub Vojinović, Dejan Jokić, border police commander Dragan Backović, Marko Mijušković, Radoje Rabrenović and Milan Vukadinović were deprived of their liberty yesterday afternoon.
SDT accuses them of having committed criminal acts - creation of a criminal organization and prolonged criminal offense of smuggling.
