Jokić's defense attorney, lawyer Danilo Mićović, said that his client denied the commission of the criminal offenses charged by the SDT.
"My client categorically denied participation in any criminal activities, both in terms of criminal offenses and in terms of membership in a criminal organization," Micović said.
He added that he could not talk about the details of the case, because it was classified as classified.
Aleksandar Mijajlović, who is accused of being the head of that criminal team, was also detained in the building of the Special State Prosecutor's Office around 15:XNUMX p.m.
He was also detained after the hearing.
Mijajlović's legal representative, lawyer Zoran Piperović, said that his client denied guilt, and that he will be detained, after which he will be brought before a judge for investigation in the High Court.
"Aleksandar completely denied the commission of the crime, and that's it. He said that it was unknown to him and that there were no points of contact, we will see in the further course of the proceedings how things will develop. Golub Vojinović also denied the accusations brought against him by the SDT, his defense lawyer, lawyer Bojan Korać, told Vijesti, stressing that due to the confidentiality label, he cannot provide details from the case.
"My client denied the commission of a criminal offense and membership in a criminal organization," Korać said.
On the order of special prosecutor Turković, members of the Special Police Department arrested 11 suspects yesterday and today.
In addition to Mijajlović and Jokić, Golub Vojinović, police officers Dragan Backović, Mirko Mijušković, Radoje Rabrenović, Milenko Mića Rabrenović, as well as Milan Vukadinović, Zoran Žuti Đukanović, Milan Rogač and Mileta Simanić from Nikšić were deprived of their freedom.
The spokesman of the SDT, prosecutor Vukas Radonjić, said yesterday that they are suspected of having committed the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization and the extended criminal offense of smuggling.
