A man from Budva was arrested, a rubber bullet gun was found, alcohol was served to minors

Last night, the Budva police arrested fellow citizen NB (25) after finding a gun with rubber bullets in the bar during the inspection.

Last night, the Budva police carried out an operation to control persons of operational interest, as well as to control the serving of alcohol to minors.

It was in the bar where the Budvanin was arrested that 12 minors were found being served alcohol.

Controls of several Budva bars were carried out.

The Budva police filed a complaint against fellow citizen NB (26) on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosive materials, the Police Administration (UP) announced.

Last night, the police controlled four catering facilities in Budva, during which they found 12 minors consuming alcohol, and upon inspection of the facility where they were in the bar, they found an "EKOL Firat Compact K" pistol with a frame and 17 pieces of ammunition, as well as a box with 24 more pieces of ammunition.

"By undertaking activities within their competence, the police came to suspect that the mentioned weapons and ammunition belong to NB (26) from Budva. Furthermore, during the control of this person, four small PVC packages were found with contents that are suspected to be the narcotic drug cocaine, 130 euros for which are suspected to originate from the commission of a criminal offense, as well as a mobile phone. The prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica has been informed of the incident, who will declare the possible existence of a criminal offense after the necessary expert examinations of the seized material, as well as the mobile phone," the statement reads. "In addition, the prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor was informed of the incident, by order of which a criminal complaint was filed against NB on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosive substances. In relation to the serving of alcoholic beverages to minors who were found in a controlled catering facility, notifications were collected from the owner of that facility, as well as from employees, and other measures and actions from the police's jurisdiction were taken, which will be brought to the attention of the competent inspection authorities in order to undertake activities within their jurisdiction," concludes in announcement.
