Baranin Dino Ibrahimović, suspected of murdering Edmond Mustafa, was detained for 72 hours.
He was heard tonight at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica.
He was heard by prosecutor Irena Burić, who is in charge of the case.
Ibrahimović's defense attorney, lawyer Damir Lekić, told Vijesti that the suspect defended himself by remaining silent.
"After he was instructed about his rights and obligations, and after the contents of the criminal complaint were presented to him, and after a confidential interview, he used his legal right and defended himself by remaining silent. He did not want to present the evidence, nor to answer questions. After the questioning of the suspect was completed, the state prosecutor issued a decision on his detention for 72 hours, on four grounds for detention, namely because of the risk of escape, the risk of influencing witnesses, the risk of repeating the criminal offense and because it is criminal the crime is particularly difficult because of the way it was carried out and the consequences," said Lekić.
The lawyer added that the prosecutor Burić, after Ibrahimović, also heard two witnesses:
"Of which both witnesses declared that in any way, due to the position where they were, as well as all the circumstances that happened on that occasion, they could not in any way see the face and discern the identity of the person who opened fire." , said the lawyer.
Lekić pointed out that Baranin was taken to the hearing with strong security measures:
"In whose composition were masked authorized police officers with full equipment and with heavy firearms," Lekić said.
Mustafa was shot and killed around nine o'clock today, and shortly after that the suspect was arrested.
Prosecutor Burić later told reporters that Ibrahimović is suspected of murder and illegal possession of weapons and explosive materials.
The prosecutor then said that she could not talk about the motive, but that all aspects relevant to the case would be investigated.
"I carried out an investigation on the spot together with the officers of the Bar Security Center and experts from the Danilovgrad Forensic Center, the traces from the scene were taken out, which will be the subject of further expert examination," the prosecutor told reporters.
