The accused Milos Medenica he told the members of his criminal group that the three customs officers from Dobrakov were under his control and that they could finish everything.
The alleged head of a criminal group that, according to the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SST), smuggled cigarettes, wrote about it on January 20, 2020, through the once protected Sky application.
"I have customs officials in Dobrakovo if we need them. I have three. They will finish everything for me, especially this one, I can do anything with him", Medenica wrote in the group chat.
He did this after he was now accused Marko Vučinić, informed that team that "Peđa is asking him if we have the green light"...
The son of the then president of the Supreme Court Vesne Medenica, he replied to Vucinić that "they always have", and then "just tell me what you need".
Vučinić explains to the group he is talking to that he needs "Rožajci"...
"Peđa has contacts, no joke, in Rožaje," he adds.
Medenica then says that he will meet with him, and that this person will find them the shipping company they need.
According to transcripts from Sky that "Vijesti" has access to, he then joined the story Nikola Raičević.
"We import goods, and now, our forwarder is Santino, for example. he doesn't have a guarantee, then he contacts Knjaz shipping company, they give him a guarantee, we finish the job, pay off all of our debts 1/1, we take the trucks to the warehouse. Everyone is happy, satisfied, and we are working full throttle. Now, what I'm telling you, you don't tell anyone until they agree, don't open the cards right away," writes Raičević.
Vučinić asks him for an explanation, and Medenica asks: "Tell me what I should say, how can I talk to this?".
Then he says that Raičević should not worry about those with whom he is negotiating.
"I have already heard from him, he is in BG, he is coming tomorrow evening and we will see each other in 2-3 days. Just to see what his shifts are like at Dobrakovo, I should go to him. This one will finish it for us, if I don't skin him. Brother, don't worry about these things I ask. Well, I wouldn't ask everyone that for myself. This is how I know what I can do," says Medenica.
1.300-1.400 packages in the truck
Less than an hour later, Medenica informed Vučinić and Raičević that he had already spoken "with Peđa".
Two days later Raičević informed them what brands of cigarettes they could offer.
“And it has Regina, Dubao, DB and Marble. Ask the customer which of these brands suits him best and see what the street prices of these goods are. That DB is Grand's program... We can order that through a man, so ask Mić - what, how is he going about it, what is good for him, so I can prepare the man. See what the prices are, etc. "Now you know, 1.300-1.400 packages will go into the truck," Raičević said.
Medenica asks if the brands are Regina, Dubao, DB and Marlbe, and then asks what the purchase price of those cigars is.
"I don't know anything until I sit down with a man. I will let you know everything. Up to 150 is the maximum. I don't think I've ever watched or worked on this DB. Regina was moving about 140 before, I don't know now. Marble is also about 140-150", answers Raičević.
That man from Podgorica, however, is not among the accused members of the criminal group that, according to the SDT, was formed by Miloš Medenica.
The trial was postponed 14 times, where is Luka Bakoč
That prosecution filed an indictment against Miloš and Vesna Medenica, Vučinić, Darko Lalović, Vasilij Petrović, Bojana i Marko Popović, Milorad Medenica, Luke Bakoča, Petar Milutinović, Ivan Kovačević, Radomir Raičević, Marjana Bevenje, Steve Karanikić, Goran Jovanović and the company "Kopad Company".
They are charged with criminal offenses - creation of a criminal organization, smuggling, giving and receiving bribes, illegal influence and inducing illegal influence, abuse of official position, drug smuggling, illegal possession of weapons, inflicting serious bodily harm and preventing evidence.
Two days ago, the trial of that group was postponed for the fourteenth time - this time because before the judge of the High Court in Podgorica, Nadom Rabrenović, the accused Luka Bakoč did not appear again, who is defending himself from freedom.
That day, Judge Rabrenović announced in the courtroom that she had issued a national warrant for that Nikšić man.
She also said that the police informed the High Court in a letter that the officers of the Nikšić Security Department were unable to find the defendant, and that they spoke with his father, who told them that he did not know where his son was.
The border police informed the court that in the period from January 31 to March 13, Luka Bakoč was not registered when crossing the border.
Previously, Judge Rabrenović ordered custody of Bakoč due to unjustified absence.
On February 1, she also postponed the main trial against the defendants in that case and scheduled a new one for Friday, March 15.
Then she stated that it was Bakoč's third absence. She reminded that he did not appear at the hearing scheduled for July 7, 2023, as well as at the main trial on November 16 last year.
She explained that he did not submit documentation for the first absence, but only informed the court through his lawyer that he could not attend due to the virus, while he submitted documentation for the second absence, but the expert subsequently determined that he was still able to attend the trial.
Medenica: When the BIA eavesdropped on me, you didn't have a phone
During the deal regarding Medenica cigarettes, Vučinić and Raičević bragged to each other which of them was the first to start "doing the mafia".
"When the BIA Serbian tel. wiretapped, you didn't have phones yet... I also have 3 days in concrete because of the serious injuries inflicted on the policeman, with his gun on his nose. Bye now, I'm off to get dressed. And more short-term arrests for swearing at police officers, when I'm parked illegally, youth is crazy," Medenica writes to them.
Vučinić reminds them where they worked when he was a mobster, and Medenica continues to recount how he beat up a policeman.
"When we beat these policemen in BD, it was in Parma, and the owner of Parma is a good friend of M**** M*****, he is the one for knockouts. I was thrown to the floor 2 times, but somehow I got up afterwards and got the Glock from this one. So when they started bellowing like oxen"...
Raičević explains to the team that he has to leave to finish their work, because they need money.
"Just push me a little more, and then my brother will introduce you to legal business, so that a million legally drips to us every year," says Medenica.
Soon the decision will be made whether there is freedom for Medenica
Judge Nada Rabrenović should soon make a decision whether or not to accept the offer of Miloš Medenica, who guaranteed real estate worth around 1,4 million euros that he would regularly respond to her calls and that he would not sabotage the proceedings in which he is accused of forming a criminal organization that ordered court decisions, smuggled cigarettes.
Rabrenović heard him two days ago on that occasion.
His defense attorney, lawyer Stefan Jovanović, told reporters after the hearing that Medenica would be a complete lunatic to escape after two years spent in custody.
"Medenica has been in custody for almost two years. The amount of the bail is such that it certainly deters the thought of escaping, of which there is no danger. Bail was offered by the closest relatives and Miloš is aware that, if he does not appear at the hearings, that bail would be taken away," said Jovanović, the Libertas portal reports.
The lawyer explained to the journalists that he pointed out to Judge Rabrenović the decision of the Constitutional Court in favor of Miloš Medenica, as well as the fact that the accused is the father of two minor children.
"...And that all the other defendants were released to defend themselves from freedom, with surveillance measures, although some of them, significantly after Miloš's arrest, became available to the competent authorities. That's why I think that Miloš, with bail, confiscation of travel documents, a ban on leaving his place of residence, and even with daily reporting to the police, should be allowed to defend himself from freedom," said Jovanović.
Medenica was arrested in May 2022.
