Four people were transported to the Emergency Block of the Clinical Center of Montenegro after a traffic accident on Vilija Brant Boulevard in Podgorica, the Operative Communication Center (OKC) of the Police Administration told News.
According to the same information, two vehicles and a pedestrian were involved in the accident.
One of the patients was admitted with serious injuries to her right leg, which, according to estimates, was practically lost.
The surgeon on duty, head of vascular surgery at KCCG, Dr. Perica Maraš, told "Vijesti" that one of the injured patients was admitted to that institution with a compromised right limb that was completely out of function due to injury to muscles and blood vessels.
"Thanks to timely diagnosis and surgery, the patient is now in a stable condition, and the right lower extremity has fully returned to its function," said Maraš and emphasized that at this moment he is completely satisfied with the outcome of this intervention.
Maraš also announced that all injured patients are out of danger.
