Radovan Marković (29) died after being wounded today in Meterizi.

"The police are on the scene, and intensive activities are being undertaken with the aim of establishing all the facts and circumstances and elucidating the event, the outcome of which will be informed to the public in a timely manner," the Police Administration said earlier.
According to unofficial information from "Vijesti", the police took a statement from a witness who stated that at least two people fled in a car from the place where the young man was found.
"Vijesti" learned that Marković was found unconscious next to a car in Meteriz.
According to the police, the car was set on fire.
The Police Directorate announced that investigation and reconnaissance measures and actions are being taken in relation to the event in which a firearm was used in the town of Meteriza, and RM (29) died from injuries sustained from that weapon.
"In relation to the first information about the commission of a criminal offense that the police have, search actions and a search of the terrain in the direction of the escape of the perpetrator or more of them are being undertaken. Information from several persons is being collected, and other operational-tactical measures and actions are being undertaken. All the capacities of the intelligence and security sector were made available in order to shed light on this event," the announcement states.
They added that according to the information available so far, the vehicle that was destroyed as a result of the fire belonged to a person who lost his life.
"Until this moment, in order to protect the investigation and fully elucidate the events, we can communicate so much information," it concludes.
