The police administration announced today that over 660 kilograms of cut tobacco were seized in Ulcinj and that criminal charges were filed against two people.
"In the place of Vladimirska kruta, police officers of the Border Police Sector yesterday in the afternoon, acting on operational information, controlled a passenger motor vehicle driven by NK (25). Upon inspection of the vehicle, 18 packages of cut tobacco with a total weight of 274,7 kilograms were found." it is emphasized in the announcement.
The Police Administration added that, shortly after this control, officers of the border police also controlled a vehicle that was moving from the direction of Vladimir towards Vladimirski kruty, which was driven by NZ (51).
"After checking this vehicle, 34 packages with 387,1 kilograms of cut tobacco were found," the announcement reads.
The prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Ulcinj was informed of the events, by order of which criminal charges will be filed against NK and NZ on suspicion of having committed two criminal acts of illegal trade.
