The defense of Atlas Group president Duško Knežević filed an appeal against the detention decision and proposed bail in the amount of 75 thousand British pounds.
Knežević's lawyer Zdravko Đukanović confirmed this for A plus television.
Đukanović said that this proposal is fair, taking into account that Knežević also asked for 24-hour security, as well as that leaving Montenegro is not a realistic option.
"Duško Knežević is not a fugitive, he left Montenegro to avoid political terror and the persecution of Milo Đukanović," said the defense lawyer.
The defense filed an appeal, stressing the need to replace the detention measures with the ban on leaving Montenegro, with the setting of a bail of 75 thousand British pounds.
Đukanović emphasized that this amount is in line with the verdict that was handed down to the president of the Atlas Group in Great Britain, and which Knežević has already respected.
