Cops Petar Lazovic, Ivan Stamatović, Miloš Mišurović i Ljubo Milović they did everything so that the attempted murder of an investigative journalist would not come to light Oliver Lakic, who was wounded on May 8, 2018 in front of the entrance of the building where she lives in Podgorica.
This is shown by transcripts from the once protected Sky application, which the European Law Enforcement Agency (EUROPOL) submitted to Montenegrin investigators.
Four members of the police drug cartel are at war with each other, and some of them with the head of the Kavaka clan Radoj Zvicer, colluded on how to sabotage the investigation.
Stamatović suggested that they find someone to pressure one of the barmen, so that he would not speak in front of the prosecutor.
Agreements to obstruct the investigation began after the Kosovar Bajram Pista told the special prosecutor that he Jovan Mirkovic, the former driver of the alleged leader of the Kavak clan Slobodan Kašćelan, connected with that organized criminal group which, as he claims, asked him to liquidate the journalist Lakić, but also Budvane Marko Ljubisa Khan i Goran Slovinić Bral.
For the murder of Lakić, he claims, they offered him 200.000 euros, because "she saw a notebook".
That citizen of Kosovo was arrested on April 29, 2019. Then he remained silent in front of the investigators for more than a year. However, after he spoke, Lazović made a strategy to protect the person who ordered the assassination attempt - Filip Knežević whom, like the rest of Kavčani, he addresses as Ribić.
The people of Kav learned that Pista had spoken in front of the prosecutor on May 15, 2020, while his hearing was still going on. They were informed about this by the now escaped policeman Ivan Stamatović, who sent a message to Mišurović:
"Godfather, two days ago we detained some people from CT, but found them in NK. The boys start talking, they say they should have been barging Perović, and in the end one agrees to be a witness, and the other tells everything he knows. They are Drecun and Rajković. Today, from the story of Drecun from ZIKS, Pista, a Kosovar, is brought in and here the prosecutor is telling everything he knows. Otherwise, they worked for the blacksmiths, as they say".
Mišurović is interested in who they mentioned and what Pista is talking about, after which Stamatović promises that he will find out everything by the end of the shift.
"And the first two do not mention the second anywhere. Although from the story of these two, they are a league below him and that they know about all the leaders, but do not have contact with them and that they were ordinary soldiers", states the then member of the Sector for the Fight against Organized Crime and Corruption (SBPOKK).
Nikola Drecun i Marinko Rajković were arrested in May 2020 in Nikšić, and the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) accuses them of planning an attack on a škaljarc from the town near Trebjes at the expense of Nikšić barmen.
HE FORGED THE PLANS WITH MILOVIĆ
On the same day when he recounted Pista's testimony to Mišurović, Stamatović tries to convey it to Milović, but they break off the conversation and resume it a day later. That day and the next, Stamatović asked Milović to have someone influence the witness, so that he would not repeat his testimony.
After Milović asks him about that subject, Stamatović informs him:
"That's what I wanted to write to you. I don't know if anyone persuaded them or told them to tell, but I heard that this Pista said that Filip Knežević aka Ribić shot at Oliver. For the bill Bešović (Filipa). When they told me that, I told them it was impossible, I even said juniorů (Peter Lazović) that I have inf. that he organized everything...", writes Stamatović, accusing the criminal clan, which is dominantly involved in cigarette smuggling, of being behind the attempted murder of the journalist.
Although he is obliged by law to report a criminal offense, Stamatović, according to "Vijesti" information, did not do so when it comes to the attempted murder of Lakić.
He also tells Milović that he "heard about Bešović for the first time through the media", and points out that Junior also agrees with him about the attacker of the then-journalist "Vijesti".
He also asks him what he found out - "who is pushing for the journalist", and then accuses the police chiefs of "shitting" in that case and suggests to Milović what the people of Kavić should do in order to save themselves:
"Let them see this Drecun if he is important to them... He talked and confessed his deeds. He breaks to be a collaborator. Someone help, he's in the hospital until Monday. Petar Lipovina and says you know. I also think Filip Knežević can, because he hid him in his apartment... They are pushing Knežević for that. A lot of money is mentioned. They say Bešović (Filip) sent it, but it seems that someone strong from the group financed it. Well, they are targeting someone tall, but the Kosovar said he didn't know. But I think that story doesn't suit them well. Well, I don't know what he wants. Although now they are pushing for Knežević to be found. The Kosovar entered Mujović (Radovan) much the same brother...", he writes.
Milović resents this happening, and Stamatović emphasizes that he spoke with Milorad Žižić, then head of the Department for Serious Criminal Offenses. Then he admits that the investigation of that attack is not being "pushed" by someone from the police department he was in charge of at the time Zoran Lazovic.
"...Brother, I am not sure who is pushing that story for Bešović. Because you know that our Sector did not exist when it was and that it is Enis (Baković) came out with that claim. That item is certainly not with Žižić. That case is in the UKP, these are the findings that emerged during the investigation. Pista told it himself, and now I don't know if anyone influenced him, but if so, he did it earlier... And this was not imposed on a journalist. In my presence. And that question was at the end, do you know what he said about Olivera, you know, so Knežević shot... Our Sector should not be blamed, because I have not seen a single action that wants to push through that story. ... And believe me, your brother would tell you that I think the goal is to fake something or set things up. At least I'm telling you about what I see and know. No one ever forced anyone to talk about it. These three are the first, except that Drecun and Rajković don't know anything, and this Kosovar told this. And the prosecutor is there all the time, there's not a lot of squeezing when everyone is there," he writes and emphasizes that it's better to see each other, because you can't write everything he has to say to him.
He also asks him not to be angry with SBPOKK.
"It is important to try to influence Drecun. He didn't say anything about others in front of the prosecutor, but he is breaking down. So that he doesn't speak too".
He informs Milović in detail about what Pista told the prosecutor, and a day later he informs him that the Kosovar is giving a statement again. Then he emphasizes that he suggested to his colleagues that they ignore the statement in the part that refers to the journalist...
Arrangements to sabotage that investigation lasted for months. At the end of that year, Petar Lazović asked Milović to talk to Komita - Radoj Zvicer, to agree on who to send for a polygraph test and thus refute what Pista admitted. Through Sky, he also asked the head of the Kavački clan, to whom he repeatedly apologized for Pista's statement.
The SDT indicted 14 defendants for murder Miodrag Kruščić and the attempted murder of journalist Lakić in May 2018. They are covered by that prosecutor's act Milan Vujotić, a former police officer Darko Lalović, Knežević, Mario Milošević, Goran Rakočević, Veselin Bubanja, Bešović, Luka Bulatović, Dejan Vukašinović, Branislav Karadzic, Goran Vukcevic, Mijajlo Stojanović, Aleksandar Ljumović i Sanja Božović.
