Former President of the Supreme Court Vesna Medenica, she said at the end of 2019 that she doesn't care about the European Union, because all that will remain of it are written documents that it existed.
She did this during correspondence with Marijana Laković Drašković, who at that time was the Director General of the Directorate for Judicial Organization, Criminal Legislation and Supervision of the Ministry of Justice.
Medenica sent that message on December 14, 2019, after the then official of the Ministry of Justice forwarded a link to the text "Uljarević: For the EC, disputed allocation of apartments to judges, party occupation of RTCG...", published on the Vijesti portal.
After sending the link, Laković Drašković sends another message:
"In addition to the office for EU integration and the Mission of Montenegro from Brussels, Daliborka (Uljarević prim. aut.) the first one has Non paper EK in her hands... That's what I told you about, and the main negotiator was in Brussels until 3 days ago... Uh."
After that Medenica answers her:
"What do we care about the European Union, all that will remain of it are written documents that it once existed".
On the same day, she sent her another link to the published text, followed by a message:
"First and foremost, you looked wonderful and the styling for 10. The story is clear and the self-confidence is visible."
For years, the former MP official was regularly on the line with the now-accused Medenica.
Among the messages removed from Medeniča's phone after her arrest are those in which Laković informed Drašković that they had begun the procedure to amend the Law on Administrative Disputes, comments on the account of individual judges, prosecutors, the Nezavisni dnevnik Vijesti..., but also the female judge whom Laković Drašković requested service.
"I was in Zlatibor with that madman from the assistant minister of Serbia... He wrote instructions for international experts and sent it to me... He says they should all be killed," Laković Drašković wrote to her on December 25, 2018.
"She was and remains a fool", commented Medenica of that official of the Serbian Government at the time.
"The Hypocrite"
At the end of the following year, Medenica informed her that a certain person she calls "Mrčela" and she were panelists at some event, to which the interlocutor replied: "Top..️.. How everything fits together.. It's just time for everything".
After that event, on December 18, 2019, Medenica boasted:
“Smaller than a poppy seed. And I wisely remain silent. Before starting the presentation, he dedicated to our long-standing acquaintance and sharing of the same values. Ha ha ha.”
"What a hypocrite.. but let it be", Laković Drašković answers her.
That former general director of the Ministry of Justice, now a lawyer, from the number she still uses today, commented on a gathering of the NGO Center for Monitoring and Research (CEMI) in February 2020:
“Pass out Svetlana court at this meeting CEMI. Boris turned pale”.
"It's about the agreement, why I also share her opinion, because the agreements have started to create court practice, which shouldn't be," Medenica explains to her.
Laković Drašković states that this is true, but that a certain Svetlana was too harsh: "She attacked the judges".
"Like her," Medenica answers shortly, but her interlocutor does not give up her complaints:
"It's not good for the public... There's a lot of media," he writes to her and suggests that they meet for something.
It follows from the messages that they arranged a meeting for a day later, and three days after that, Laković Drašković sends a message:
"Let him tell you the name of the judge later... Who knows what it was"...
And Medenica asks her for a favor at the end of that month - to speed up the confirmation from the criminal record for the company "Royal plus". Aleksandar Vujović, which she does on the same day.
"Let Vujović go to the Hilton, there are MPs there and let him raise his conviction... It's over," she sent to Medenica an hour and a half later.
"Born for scandals"
On the first day of July 2020, Laković sends her the statements of one of the judges, which both comment on in a negative context.
Medenica explains that there is a session of the Judicial Council that day and that she will talk to her colleague.
“Obviously. That woman creates chaos wherever she appears and whatever she says.. God," Laković Drašković writes to her.
He gets the answer from Medenica: "Born for scandals." At first, she accepted, so when Sudski washed up because of personal trips, then she gets away with it in a way that only harms the judiciary. These ghosts. Pi”.
The interlocutor answers her briefly: "Well... Uh", and Medenica continues:
"But even this is better than her fickle editions. How Pipo gets away, and everyone around is babbling."
"That's right, but the bride for her... and Pipo has always been and remains the same," states the current lawyer.
Eight days later, the two of them exchanged messages, which is why Vijesti reported the announcement of the Supreme Court. They do this after the then director of the Ministry of Internal Affairs sends a link to the text published on the Vijesti portal and the comment "It's a wonder that these were transmitted".
"They wanted more war and blood," answered Medenica.
On the same day that Medenica asked her to do so, Laković Drašković "accelerated" obtaining a certificate from the criminal records for the company "Royal plus" and Aleksandar Vujović
The day after the parliamentary elections in August of that year, Laković forwards a link to a text announcing that the then president of the Judicial Council, Vesna Simović, Switzerland, said that they are "encouraged by the messages of the leaders of the opposition parties who declared victory in the elections last night" and that they expect those parties to be dignified in their new role.
Laković Drašković commented on her statement with the words: "Oh God. What is this? God forbid".
In the following days, they comment on the political reality in Montenegro, and that official of the Ministry of Justice states: "I give this government, if it is formed at all, half a year at most."
"There is the key to the solution of all our problems, which are not few", Medenica answers her.
At the beginning of December of that year, they corresponded in a negative context about the former Supreme State Prosecutor Ivica Stanković, commenting that he made the decision "before the formation of the new Government".
"Pi*ka", Medenica concludes the conversation about him, and Laković answers her with: "Pi".
Medenica is being tried in two separate proceedings before the Podgorica High Court, due to accusations that she abused her official position.
The special state prosecution accuses her of becoming a member of an organized criminal group formed by her son Milos Medenica.
I will give this government, if it is formed at all, a maximum of half a year, said Marijana Laković Drašković, the director at the Ministry of Justice shortly after the 2020 parliamentary elections.
Miloš Medenica's criminal group is charged with creating a criminal organization, smuggling, giving and receiving bribes, illegal influence and inducing illegal influence, abuse of official position, drug smuggling, illegal possession of weapons, inflicting serious bodily harm and preventing evidence.
