Turkish citizen OA was ordered into custody due to reasonable suspicion that he committed a prolonged criminal offense of tax and contribution evasion, the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Nikšić announced.
"It is reasonably suspected that OA, as a responsible person in the legal entity 'TG' DOO with headquarters in N. and the legal entity 'TG' DOO with headquarters in N., on several occasions during 2022 and 2023, with the intention of avoid paying taxes, provided false information, as well as failed to report facts that have an impact on the determination of tax liability," the announcement reads.
The Nikšić police filed a criminal complaint against the Nikšić-based "Tasyapi gradnja" doo and the responsible person, Turkish citizen OA (45), who is suspected of tax and contribution evasion, the Police Administration (UP) announced.
By order of the competent prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić, OA was arrested.
"OA, as the owner, responsible person and executive director of the aforementioned legal entity, during 2022 and 2023, with the intention of completely or partially avoiding the payment of taxes, contributions and other prescribed duties, provided false information about legally acquired income - reporting expenses - expenses for which there is no documentation in the bookkeeping of a legal entity that would justify them. documentation on the basis of the same, using input VAT without valid documentation, in which way he concealed the data related to the determination of the aforementioned obligations, which caused damage to the budget of Montenegro in the amount of 61.252 euros," the statement of the UP states.
