President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee Dusan Simonović he complained to the former president of the Supreme Court Vesni Medenici that the investigation of the International Ski Federation (FIS) was initiated at the beginning of 2022 by the acting director of the Directorate for Sports and Youth, Marko Begovic.
In that context, the two of them insult Begović, and Medenica threatens to "bite his father" and spit on him as soon as she sees him.
This is shown by the messages extracted from the phone of the long-time judge and prosecutor, confiscated after she was deprived of her liberty in April 2022 by order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office. She was then handcuffed on suspicion of being part of a criminal group formed by her son Miloš, which smuggled cigarettes, ordered court verdicts...
The conversation about this man from Podgorica begins on February 10, 2022, when Simonović sends his godmother a link to a text dealing with that topic, published on the Vijesti portal, and then a document.
"This is what they sent me, and I hear that Begović started it all," writes the president of COK, and Medenica says:
"We already knew that. He's a scumbag, I'll call his father a mule".
The news of those days, originally reported the text of the American Washington Post, that the FIS was investigating at least three qualifying races, among which was the one in Montenegro, after which a number of competitors qualified for the Winter Olympics in Beijing.
At the time, it was reported that the FIS did not announce which races were involved, but several people familiar with the investigation told the American newspaper that qualifying competitions held in Dubai, Montenegro and Liechtenstein were being checked due to possible abuses.
"The investigation of the International Ski Federation (FIS) and the articles of the influential world media about the fact that ski races were held in Bjelasica where, allegedly, the results were falsified in order to make it easier for competitors from numerous countries to qualify for the Olympic Games, are unpleasant and require a full investigation", Begović told Vijestima at the time.
The Italian "La Repubblica" then announced that there was corruption and even death threats during the competitions held in Dubai, Montenegro and Liechtenstein.
"He wanted me to react, but I to him too Brotherly (Vesna) I don't answer letters. Everything started from the reception in Cetinje. Scum," writes Simonović.
Medenica then comments on Begović's sister and says: "Spitting doesn't kill him as long as I meet him and leave."
"Well, the man tells me that he initiated all this and he informed the FIS, and then stated that it was unpleasant news and that he expected the COK to react, just to draw us into the story in some way. At the same time, our competitors have already achieved the norms and the organization of our Ski Association is complete. Some Serb threatened an Italian... If that is even true. "On the basis of the article, an illiterate idiot and a complex person is making a fuss", writes the President of the Central Committee of the Croatian Academy of Sciences.
The former president of the Supreme Court then replies that Begović started everything "with a certain Vuković from Serbia", and Simonović sends her a message:
“There you see. Bitch complexed. There won't be much of it anywhere. Just let it be healthy”.
"Exactly", Medenica answers him.
Begović told Vijesti yesterday that what the journalist presented to him was "miserable, wretched with a chronic lack of courage, but certainly not surprising."
"The idea that I influenced the texts of the world's leading media corresponds to the chronic fear of my activities aimed at healing Montenegrin sports. I guess no one expects anything different from the gravedigger of Montenegrin society and the state, especially from individuals who are still in decision-making positions in sports, without restrictions and with the wholehearted support of the policies of all governments in continuity. "During those months, I called for a public discussion of the accumulated problems, but of course, every call, comment or text of mine went unanswered, because it is a time of silence in Montenegrin sports," he said.
He pointed out that "clientelism and nepotism, employment of relatives, untruthful presentation of business with misuse of resources of the citizens of Montenegro are their only modus operandi".
"As I have been pointing out for years, it is necessary for the competent state authorities to examine the business in detail and check the lifestyle, so then it will be clear what the real interest of the individuals who captured the sport is. "It is necessary to free sport from party influences and obscure phenomena as soon as possible, and to return funds spent for non-intended purposes to the state budget," he said.
