The Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) has filed an indictment against the alleged members of the Kavac clan Radoje Živković aka Žuti, Ratko Živković aka Zemo, Milan Vujotić and Zdravko Perunović on suspicion that they killed a member of their criminal organization Ljubomir Lainović so that he would not reveal to the police what he was doing for that clan if he is arrested.
Special prosecutor and SDT spokesman Vukas Radonjić announced that the court ordered the issuing of warrants for the four accused.
He explained that the two men, Živković, Perunović and Vujotić, are being charged with creating a criminal organization and aggravated murder committed as accomplices.
"The indictment was filed because there is a well-founded suspicion that, in June 2020, on the territory of Montenegro and Serbia and other European countries, the defendant R.Ž. organized a criminal organization, whose members became the defendants R.Ž., ZP and MV and other persons, in order to commit the criminal acts of murder and aggravated murder," announced Radonjić.
Radoje Živković from Nikšić is accused of having then decided to take the life of a member of a criminal organization, the victim Ljubomir Lainović, in a treacherous way, out of reckless revenge, self-interest and base motives...
"Because there is a possibility that, in case of deprivation of liberty by the police, they will reveal all the information about the murders of the members of the opposing criminal organization, which the defendant MV agreed to and gave instructions on which of the defendants would commit the criminal offense and for what monetary compensation, as and in what way the traces of the criminal act should be removed, so the defendant R.Ž. drove the injured party to the forest, in the area of village G., municipality D., falsely telling him that he would practice shooting with a firearm in that place, where the defendant ZP killed him with a firearm, and then both defendants put the victim's remains in an improvised coffin and buried them, about which they informed the organizer in an encrypted communication, and the defendant R.Ž. was paid a fine through an intermediary in Serbia prize in the amount of 400.000,00 euros," said Radonjić.
Perunović is accused of firing shots at Lainović after Ratko Živković lured him into the forest, promising him that he would practice shooting there.
Some media linked Lainović to the murder of one of the leaders of the Škaljar clan, Igor Dedović and Stevan Stamatović.
