Aleksandar-Aco Mrkić (59) is still on the run. His brother Nikola Mrkić (56), former director of the Police Administration Veselin Veljović (57) and Mujo Nikočević (49) were arrested on July 24, 2023 by order of the Special Prosecutor's Office and have been in custody since then.

In January 2017, Ilija Vasović was chosen as the first associate, head of criminal investigation, by the then head of the Security Center (CB) Bar, Drago Spičanović. Later, from June 2019, he was also the first associate of the then newly elected head of the CB Bar, Veselin Magovčević.

He was dismissed from that position in April 2021, by the decision of the then acting director of the Police Administration, Zoran Brđanin.

Since then, Libertas was told in the Police Directorate, he has been unassigned and regularly receives a salary of over a thousand euros.

Vasović, before being appointed to the position of head of criminal investigation in Bar, was an inspector for blood crimes in the Security Department of Ulcinj.

Miodrag-Daka Davidović, a controversial businessman, was blacklisted by the US Department of Finance for corruption and malicious activities in mid-November last year.

In the decision to impose sanctions on Davidović, it is written that he "has been laundering money for criminal groups for decades, strengthening his influence and shaping his criminal enterprise that deals with cigarette, oil and weapons smuggling in Montenegro".

Stevan Simijanović was detained on February 8, 2021 in Nikšić on suspicion of using a forged diplomatic passport of the United States of America. After the arrest, the main prosecutor in Nikšić, Ana Doderović, released Simijanović from freedom, and on February 12, 2021, he left Montenegro and crossed the Dobrakovo border crossing to Serbia.

After the change of government in August 2020, Simijanović stayed in Montenegro falsely presenting himself as an American diplomat. He tried to achieve cooperation with people from the security sector in the Government of Montenegro. The US Embassy in Podgorica officially informed the Montenegrin police that it is an American citizen, but not an American diplomat who works at the US Embassy in Vienna at the OSCE mission, as Simijanović introduced himself and as it was written on the business card that was found. with him during the arrest.
