"Police officers immediately upon learning about the event went to the scene, which was secured. In order to determine all the circumstances and facts, and to shed light on this event, the officers of the Police Directorate, in coordination with the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, are undertaking intensive investigative measures and actions, and the public will be informed about the course and outcome in a timely manner," the police officially announced.
For months, the police feared that something like this could happen in Cetinje, since a large number of members of criminal clans have been freed for the last six months.
Most of them were released from custody because the court did not even issue a first-instance verdict three years after their detention. The largest number of people, whom the police misled as members of the OKG, are located in Cetinje.
An investigation is underway. TV Vijesti journalist said in the 10 o'clock broadcast that the mayor of Cetinje, Nikola Đurašković, is also on the field.
