Officials of the Directorate for Forest and Hunting Management, together with the crime inspector of the Mojkovac Regional Unit and the market inspection, discovered 30 cubic meters of wood assortments without valid documentation in a sawmill in Mojkovac.
"Namely, at the sawmill in Mojkovac, 83 logs (about 30 cubic meters) were found that were shipped to Kosanica, but they did not have a regular shipping bill from Kosanica to Mojkovac. The goods were temporarily confiscated until the end of the procedure, and currently the data and evidence necessary for further investigation and proceedings," the statement said.
"The management of forests and hunting grounds continues with intensive activities in the fight against illegal actions in the forests, and with the support of other competent authorities, our goal is to eradicate forest thieves and lawlessness from our forests," it concludes.
