The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI) today submitted four criminal charges to the Basic State Prosecutor in Podgorica against foreign nationals due to the well-founded suspicion that VM, H.Č, AP, GM submitted false and untrue educational documents, for which secondary schools are responsible in the process of recognition of foreign educational documents on acquired secondary education, determined that they are not credible, the MPNI announced.
"There is a reasonable suspicion that the persons VM, H.Č, AP, GM have committed the criminal offense of falsifying a document from Article 412 of the Criminal Code. We expect the competent authorities to act in accordance with their competences and powers, in order to solve this important institutional problem ", stated in the MPNI statement.
From that government department, they said that they have filed 26 criminal charges in 2024 so far.
"Which is an indicator of the readiness to stand in the way of such abuses, which are inadmissible, both for the educational system and for the entire society," said the MPNI.
