A few hours after the double murder, at a press conference, police leaders announced that they expected a crime to occur, and the outgoing Acting Director of the Police Administration, Aleksandar Radović, then assessed that the event "casts a shadow on the good results that the police had in the previous period ". "This is a red line. Montenegro must not allow itself any accidental victims. We are obliged to oppose every form of violence and crime. The fight against crime must be a priority. It will not be easy, but the country will win," Radović said that day.
