"Vijesti" has learned unofficially that several persons of operational interest and persons associated with them are being searched in the action of the Sector for the fight against crime and all police regional centers.
According to the same information, most of the searches were carried out in Kotor, and the police officers checked people connected to two organized criminal groups there - Škaljar and Kavačka.
A source from the Police Administration explained that these are repressive preventive measures.
The Police Administration announced that searches were carried out at 20 locations in Montenegro with the aim of finding internationally wanted persons, as well as finding objects and traces originating from criminal acts.
"On that occasion, three pistols, over 100 pieces of ammunition, seized vehicles, as well as excise goods were found. The primary focus was on activities in relation to members of high-risk criminal groups, operationally interesting persons and persons connected with them, all with the aim of creating a favorable security situation. environment in the country. Montenegrin police officers will continue to intensify their activities, especially towards these categories of persons without exception, with the aim of uncompromisingly suppressing crime and preserving the stability and safety of society," the police statement said.
