The leader of the URA Civil Movement, Dritan Abazović, said that the action "Genaral" is the expected continuation of activities aimed at suppressing the activities of organized criminal groups in transnational crime.
One of the leaders of the criminal clan Drešaj from Tuzi - Viktor Drešaj was arrested this morning in the large international operation "General" by order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT). Vukan Čoković (61), who used to have the name Vinet, was arrested in Budva by order of the SDT. Vaso Ulić (64) from Podgorica was also arrested in the operation, and his son was also handcuffed.
Among those arrested are Petar Miranović from Podgorica, Veselin Paro Pavličić from Danilovgrad, as well as Marinko Prelević.
In a major international operation, the police are also looking for Radoj Zvicer, Ivan Delić, Leon Drešaj and Vuk Vulević, because they are suspected of being part of a criminal group that smuggled more than 2,5 tons of cocaine. The sources of "Vijesti" claim that one of the suspects in the large international action of the security services is the prisoner Damir Mandić, the only one convicted in the case for the murder of Duško Jovanović.
In a post on the X network, Abazović stated that organized criminal groups have a great influence on many socio-political processes within the country and the region.
"I congratulate the people in SDT and SPO, chief special prosecutor Vladimir Novović, head of SPO Predrag Šuković, officers of the Financial Intelligence Unit, as well as a few brave individuals who are persistently working to expose the most serious crimes and the persons associated with them. Today is another joint victory. The hand of justice does not stop. Montenegro is stepping bravely towards the super final, after which nothing will be the same in our country. Just be patient and wise," Abazović said.
