Two people were injured, one of them seriously, in a group fight that happened early this morning in front of a bar near the Old Town in Ulcinj, Vijesti has learned unofficially.
A source close to the investigation said that the police are taking the measures and actions foreseen by the law, that the basic prosecutor is aware of everything, but that the crime is still not qualified.
"Work on the case is ongoing. All facts and circumstances are being established," said our interlocutor.
In a video that is circulating on social networks, it can be seen that in front of a bar on the crowded Pristan, at one point chaos arose where several unidentified persons brutally beat a man on the street who had previously been knocked down with punches.
According to unofficial information, members of the security of a bar also took part in the fight.
The head of the Ulcinj prosecutor's office, Denis Zvrko, said that he ordered the Ulcinj police to identify the participants in the fight.
"That procedure is ongoing, as well as the collection of notifications from citizens, and an inspection of the scene was carried out in order to find traces and the necessary evidence. Recordings and video surveillance from nearby buildings are excluded. Based on the information I received, two people were injured, from one of which was taken care of in the hospital, and the other was discharged home after the examination. The doctors will make a statement about the severity of the injuries later," writes Zvrka in response to Vijesti's questions.
After receiving the necessary information from the Police Administration, the prosecutor's further decision will be made.
