Not even three months after the disappearance of the painting of the famous Montenegrin painter and academic was reported Voj Stanić from the premises of the Hotel-Tourist Company (HTP) "Ulcinjska Riviera", the investigation did not progress beyond the expert assessment of the value of a possible replica located in the Ulcinj Security Department.
"In connection with the disappearance of a valuable art painting from the premises of HTP Ulcinjska Riviera, I state that an expert examination of the value and authenticity of the painting, which was temporarily confiscated by the UP OB Ulcinj, is in progress," reads the reply of the head of the Ulcinj Prosecutor's Office Denis Zvrka to the question of Vijesti.
The question remained unanswered, whether the picture loses its trace when it was allegedly taken to be framed some time ago.
In mid-May, the news announced that inspectors from Ulcinj are investigating who and in what way stole a painting worth tens of thousands of euros, and then placed a forgery on the wall in the same place.
At the Ulcinj Prosecutor's Office, the newspaper confirmed at the time that several people had been questioned in this regard.
"An investigation is underway following the report of the disappearance of an artistic painting owned by HTP Ulcinjska Riviera. On the order of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office of Ulcinj, the Police Department collected information from several persons who are employed or were employed by the injured company. Due to the interest of the further proceedings, no more information can be given", it was written at the time in the response of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office Ulcinj to the questions of Vijesti.
At that time, the news also announced that the disputed picture, which is in the Ulcinj police, is probably a forgery and, like the original, is not small in size.
On April 22nd of this year, a report was submitted to the Ulcinj police in which there is doubt about the authenticity of the picture that is located in the official room of the HTP Ulcinjska rivijera, and whose author is Vojo Stanić.
The application was submitted by the current director of that HTP Camil Hodzic.
"The police officers seized the picture in question and it is currently in the official premises of the Police Directorate, Ulcinj Security Department, and is believed to be a replica, while the original picture that was previously in the aforementioned office is still not located. In connection with the event in question, notifications were collected from 10 persons, namely Ć. H, M. L, N. Đ, I. D, Đ. B, K. M, E. I, S. V, MM and VF The picture will be sent for the necessary expert examinations after the order of the basic state prosecutor, while the police undertakes further measures and actions in order to shed light on the event", announced the Public Relations Team Police Department.
At the time, the Ulcinj Riviera did not respond to Vijesti's questions - which painting disappeared, whether it has been found in the meantime, what is the value of that work of art and who was interviewed by the police on this occasion.
Before "Karisma" leased the hotels of the Ulcinj Riviera on Velika plaža, Stanić's picture adorned the wall of the congress hall in the "Olimpik" hotel.
After "Karisma" took over the hotels, the painting was transferred to the office on Ada.
For now, it is not known when the trace of it was lost, that is, since when a copy of Stanić's valuable work of art was "hanging" on the wall of the HTP Ulcinjska Riviera.
The perpetrators of the incident in the local parliament are still unknown
The Ulcinj Prosecutor's Office is also working on discovering the perpetrators who, on the night of May 29, threw unknown chemical substances in the hall of the Ulcinj Municipal Assembly and interrupted the extraordinary session, but the investigation has not progressed far in that case either.
"Regarding the incident in SO Ulcinj, we are in the process of obtaining data through electronic communications," Zvrko answered briefly when asked by Vijesti whether the prosecution has more information about the incident in SO Ulcinj, when chemical substances were used.
On the night of May 29, during the discussion on the dismissal of the then President of the Municipality of Ulcinj, Omer Bajraktari, chemical substances were thrown into the hall, where an extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers was taking place. After that, the councilors left the hall, and at the same time, the electricity went out in the Municipality building as well as in the entire street that gravitates to that part of the city.
Zvrko then told Vijesti that police officers are determining whether tear gas, pepper spray or some other substance was thrown in the SO hall. He confirmed to Vijesti that the prosecutor's office launched an investigation into the incident.
"The prosecutor's office ordered the police to collect information from all the people who were in the hall, to exclude the recordings from the video surveillance in the SO hall if there are any, but also from the TV crews that recorded the sessions," said Zvrko at the time.
