The search of two houses in Berane belonging to M.Ć. (42) and M.Č. (23) several pieces of ammunition were found, the police announced.
"Officials of the Regional Security Center "North" - Berana Security Department, while conducting activities aimed at finding firearms, ammunition and explosive materials in illegal possession, filed criminal charges against two persons.
Acting on the order of the Basic Court in Berane, police officers searched the house used by M. Ć. (42), during which six pieces of 9 mm caliber ammunition were found," the statement of the Police Administration states. It is added that against M. Ć. by order of the prosecutor, a criminal report was filed on the suspicion that he had committed the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives.
"In the continuation of the activity, in accordance with the order of the Basic Court in Berane, a search was made of the house used by M.Č. (23), where the police found 19 pieces of rifle ammunition of unknown caliber. A criminal complaint was filed against M.Č. due to suspicion that committed the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosive substances
M.Č. is wanted for the purpose of serving a prison sentence for the criminal offense of forest theft and he will be transferred to the Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions to serve the sentence," the police announced.
