The Ulcinj police arrested Naser Ramaj after he entered the official premises of the Ulcinj Security Department, the Police Directorate announced.
A criminal complaint was filed against Ramaj due to the suspicion that he evaded taxes and thereby damaged the state by more than two million euros.
"In continuation of the activity that the officers of the Sector for the fight against crime, the Department for the fight against corruption, economic crime and the implementation of financial investigations carried out on August 1, 2024, in coordination with the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor, during which VG, the director company doo 'Alart Centar Budva - Montenegro' and a criminal complaint was filed against it and the said company on suspicion of having committed criminal offenses of tax and contribution evasion, today in Ulcinj by the officers of the Anti-Crime Sector in cooperation with the officers of the Security Department Ulcinj, deprived of his liberty, after he entered the official premises of the Ulcinj Security Department. Police officers previously filed a criminal complaint against him on suspicion of having committed a criminal offense of tax and contribution evasion as one of the owners of the company "Alart Centar Budva - Montenegro". ' which caused material damage to the Budget of Montenegro in the total amount of 2.044.008,64 euros," the announcement reads.
