Supervisors of the Prokletije National Park Protection Service were verbally attacked at their workplace while they were controlling the terrain in Bor Koljenovića.
As announced by the National Parks of Montenegro (NPCG), during a tour of the grounds yesterday, the supervisors found three people with loose hunting dogs.
One of them, it is stated, sent verbal threats to the employees of the Protection Service on several occasions.
"It is not the first time, nor the only time, that our supervisors encounter insults, verbal threats, and even physical attacks while performing their work tasks. We have repeatedly said that we will not allow intimidation and attacks on our employees who are on the front line of the fight for protection the most valuable areas of Montenegro. This attack is classified as an attack on an official and JPNPCG will do everything to protect its employees", said the director of the company, Vladimir Martinović.
The case was reported to the Police Directorate, and the management of JPNPCG expects a quick reaction to this report.
