The Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Cetinje announced today that it never stopped or stopped the confiscation of weapons from Cetinje resident Vuk Borilović, who two years ago killed ten fellow citizens and wounded six, before being killed by the police.
The ODT Cetinje stated in the statement that it is not competent to issue an armed list, nor confiscate weapons in administrative proceedings, as well as that the Police Directorate does not have the authority to issue orders to the prosecutor's office, and therefore neither an order to confiscate weapons.
The mother of the murdered Nataša Martinović, Vesna Pejović, yesterday during the commemoration of two years since the tragedy in Cetinje, accused the Cetinje prosecutor's office of not doing anything to confiscate the killer's weapon before the bloody feast, as requested by the former Cetinje police chief Dalibor Šaban.
She then said that the family will not give up the search for justice.
