The Ulcinj Prosecutor's Office is still trying to shed light on the mysterious case of the painting's disappearance Voj Stanić from the premises of the Ulcinj Riviera Hotel Tourist Company, which an unknown perpetrator removed from the wall of the director's office, and probably placed a replica in its place.
"Regarding the case of the missing valuable art painting from the premises of HTP Ulcinj Riviera, we have sent an order to the expert in the field of photography, painting and sculpture, and we inform you that the expert has not yet submitted his findings and opinion", writes the reply of the head of the Ulcinj Prosecutor's Office Denis Zvrka.
"Vijesti" asked the prosecutor's office how far the investigation into the disappearance of a probably very valuable work by a famous Montenegrin academic and painter has come.
The interlocutor of Vijesti from the investigation explained that the expert gives a finding and an opinion on what the value of the original painting would be.
"The expert does not have to see the original picture to give a finding and opinion. Also, he is an expert on the authenticity of the picture that was given to him for inspection," explained the same source.

On April 22nd of this year, a report was submitted to the Ulcinj police in which there is doubt about the authenticity of the painting by the artist Stanić, which is located in the official room of the HTP Ulcinj Riviera.
The application was submitted by the current executive director of that hotel and tourism company, Camil Hoxha.
The Police Directorate informed the News at the time that the police officers seized the picture in question and that it is currently in the official premises of the Police Directorate, Ulcinj Security Department.
"It is believed to be a replica, while the original painting, which was previously in the aforementioned office, has not yet been located. In connection with the event in question, notifications were collected from 10 persons, namely Ć. H., ML, N.D., I. D., D. B., KM, Hey, SV, MM i VF The image will be sent to the necessary experts after the order of the basic state prosecutor, while the police undertakes further measures and actions in order to shed light on the event," said the Police Directorate at the time.
"Vijesti" announced in mid-May that Ulcinj inspectors are investigating who and in what way stole a painting worth tens of thousands of euros, and then placed a forgery on the wall in the same place.
The disputed picture, which was in the Ulcinj police, has almost the same dimensions as the original.
Several interviewees of Vijesti from HTP Ulcinjska riviera confirmed that the picture was allegedly taken to be framed some time ago and that it is possible that it has been lost since then.
Before "Karisma" leased the Ulcinj Riviera hotels on the Velika beach, a painting by Voj Stanić adorned the wall of the congress hall in the "Olimpik" hotel. After "Karisma" took over the hotels, the picture was transferred to the office on Ada.
