The Public Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime in Belgrade filed an indictment against 19 defendants, led by Veljko Belivuk and Darko Sarić, on suspicion of having organized and carried out the murders of Stevan Stamatović, Igor Dedović, Alan Kožar and Damir Hadžić, writes Radio Television of Serbia (RTS). .
The Public Prosecution for Organized Crime filed an indictment against the defendants - Veljko Belivuk, Darko Šarić, Milovan Zdravković, Ratko Živković, Stefan Andrejić, Dragan Tomić, Marko Petković, Vladimir Mandić, Slobodan Vujacić, Nataša Dedić, Blagoj Gašić, Nebojša Janković, Vladimir Vojnović, Dušan Jovanović, Radet Stojićević, Filip Knežević, Milinko Brašnović, Marko Stanković and Miloš Jevrić, who are charged with the criminal offense of conspiracy to commit criminal offenses under Art. 346 of the Criminal Code (CPC) of Serbia and two crimes of aggravated murder from Art. 114 CC.
These are the murders committed in January 2020 in Athens, where Stevan Stamatović and Igor Dedović were killed, and the murders in Corfu on July 23, 2020, when Alan Kožar and Damir Hadžić were killed.
The defendants Veljko Belivuk and Darko Šarić, as well as Radoje Zvicer, a citizen of Montenegro against whom proceedings are being conducted in Greece for these criminal acts, have been identified as organizers.
A trial in absentia was proposed for seven accused persons, namely: Miloš Jevrić, Milovan Zdravković, Ratko Živković, Stefan Andrejić, Blagoj Gašić, Filip Knežević and Marko Stanković, while detention was proposed for 12 defendants.
The indictment is, among other things, the result of a joint investigation team of the judicial authorities of Serbia and Greece.
The indictment was submitted for confirmation to the High Court - Special Department for Organized Crime in Belgrade.
