The Police Directorate officially confirmed that one person was arrested on suspicion of physically attacking a member of the Communal Police in Ulcinj yesterday.
EH (31), from Bjelopolje, was arrested and charged with assaulting an official in the performance of official duties.
"Yesterday, a member of the Ulcinj Communal Police reported to the Ulcinj Police that he was physically attacked by a person while he was performing official work in the Đerane settlement. The incident was reported to the prosecutor, who qualified it as the criminal offense of assaulting an official in the performance of his official duties. Due to the suspicion that committed this criminal act, EH (31) from Bijelo Polje was deprived of his liberty," the official police statement states.
