MV (21) from Beran was arrested after marijuana and ecstasy were found in his possession in Ulcinj.
"During yesterday, the officers of the Security Department of Ulcinj, together with the members of the Special Purpose Police Sector, carried out increased checks on persons of operational interest who were staying in catering facilities - beach bars on Velika Plaža in Ulcinj. During the check on the person of MV (21) from Beran, a small amount of substance was found which is suspected to be the narcotic drug marijuana, as well as 25 pieces of ecstasy tablets," the Police Directorate announced.
MV was arrested by order of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, on suspicion of having committed a criminal offense - unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
"D.S. (27) from the Republic of Serbia was found with a small amount of substance suspected to be the narcotic drug cocaine, and MR (19), also from the Republic of Serbia, was found with a small amount of substance suspected of being is the narcotic drug marijuana, and misdemeanor charges have been filed against them for misdemeanors from the Law on Prevention of Drug Abuse," added the police.
During yesterday's action, three persons of operational interest were sanctioned in accordance with the Law on Identity Cards, they conclude from that institution.
