In the Spago restaurant in Podgorica's City Quarter neighborhood, today, around 15 p.m., there was a scuffle between former Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and the owner of the Bemaks company, Ranko Ubović, and people from his company and their security.
Abazović confirmed this to "Vijesti", saying only that his security had reported the incident to the police.
The waiter of the restaurant allegedly asked the leader of the Civic Movement (GP) URA, upon entering the building, if he wanted to find another place for him "because there are 'Bemaksovci'". In addition to Ubović, there were allegedly in the restaurant, among others, businessman Aleksandar Mijajlović, one of the former informal owners of Bemaks, and Vladan Ivanović, the owner of "nobody's house" near Gorica.
The former prime minister allegedly saluted them, and the owner of Bemaks, Ranko Ubović, responded by saying: "Shame on you."
Then, as unofficially learned by "Vijesti", Ubović's security team headed for Abazović. According to the source, there was a commotion, which was also attended by URA GP officials Filip Adžić and Ilir Harasani, who came to have lunch with Abazović.
The interlocutor of "Vijesti" claims that the alleged head of Ubović's security told Adžić - "You keep mentioning me, but you don't even know who I am", that there were commotions and insults and that the security of the owner of Bemax went towards the three officials of GP URA, but stopped them a policeman from Abazović's security. Allegedly, the team around Ubović asked Abazović, Adžić and Harasani to leave the restaurant. They allegedly refused to do so, so that, according to the source, Ubović and his team would pay the bill and leave.
The entire incident was allegedly recorded on the restaurant's video surveillance.
