The Europe Now Movement (PES) announced that "nafter many years of delay and obstruction of the process", Binali Camgoz, Turkish fugitive, extradited to his home country.
"According to the decision of the Ministry of Justice, the extradition of this internationally wanted person was carried out by the professional action of the Police Administration - Criminalistics Sector, Special Units, Border Police, with the logistics of the ANB. A warrant has been issued for Camgoza for creating a criminal organization and attempted murder," the announcement states. PES.
They add that Camgoz, apart from the accusations of the most serious crimes in the Turkish city of Izmir, is also known to the public "for the suspicion that he falsified personal documents during his stay in Montenegro and established a collaborative network with Montenegrin organized criminal groups".
"It is clear that with this action to combat crime and fulfill international obligations, Montenegro has eliminated a high-risk threat to national security. The priority of the work of the 44th Government and the security sector must be to achieve the rule of law and send a clear message that criminal structures must never again have institutional support or protection. PES and the Government will continue with the mission of creating a functional, free and safe society. With such an approach, Montenegro will never be an oasis for persons on international warrants," the PES statement said.
