The Albanian Alliance welcomed and congratulated the extradition of Binali Camgoz to Turkey.
"Today, on the Victory Day of the Republic of Turkey, we congratulate and welcome the extradition of Binali Çamgoz, who is on the Interpol red list of wanted persons. "Montenegro should not be a refuge for any fugitive from the justice of friendly countries, and especially not the Republic of Turkey, which is a proven friend of Montenegro, all Albanians and a guarantor of peace in the Balkans," reads the statement signed by Albanian Alliance MP Ilir Capuni.
It is stated that "by extradition, Montenegro has shown confidence in the judicial system of the Republic of Turkey and respect for its health system, with which we have been cooperating for years."
"First of all, she showed confidence in the good relations between the two countries. Previous precedents of non-extradition and cooperation with people on the other side of the law from Turkey have proven to be a weakness of our state and its law enforcement agencies. Therefore, Montenegro was on its way to becoming a safe haven for people from the world of crime around the world, who extended their influence to members of the law enforcement agencies and spread their influence all the way to the highest authorities, Čapuni said in a statement.
The Albanian Alliance, he said, is convinced that the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Internal Affairs strictly followed the laws and regulations on the extradition of foreign citizens, "thus proving the functioning of a legal and just state, which strives for stability and development in the region and rapid inclusion in the EU ".
