The Ukrainian citizen did not initiate physical contact when an employee of the ferry Morski Dobr, on the line Kamenari - Lepetani, was injured, according to the defenders of the suspected Ukrainian citizens.
"The physical contact that undisputedly occurred was not initiated by the Ukrainian citizen KC (2001), who was deprived of his liberty. After he was asked to move his vehicle from the location where he temporarily stopped, he was violently dragged out from his vehicle, on which occasion, while he was holding on to the doorpost, his finger was pinched by the door, which caused him to suffer a serious injury there was no resistance, nor was it possible, because it was a person with a physical handicap. he did not participate in any way.
The serious injuries sustained by KC (2001) on that occasion were the reason that another Ukrainian citizen, his friend MS (1993), took him to Kotor General Hospital for first aid. This explains the inscriptions in the media, why and how they met again with local citizens there. However, what they do not explain is that these same local citizens, as soon as they spotted these Ukrainian citizens, started hitting them, causing them numerous physical injuries.
There are recordings from the security cameras of both locations about all of the above and medical documentation issued in the name of these actors, and these facts are easily established...
Everything stated in this response refers to the behavior of these two persons, currently deprived of their liberty, who are exclusively harmed in this procedure, while the behavior of the other participants and their responsibility, we do not want to comment on, but will leave it to the state authorities.
In any case, with all the understanding of the efforts that the employees loading vehicles on the ferry invest in their work, we believe that there is no room for arrogance and arbitrariness in their actions, and that in this particular case it was solely the cause of the event in question," he writes in a response that signed by lawyers Novica Kašćelan and Vladimir Peranović.
