Police officers found a "Zastava" pistol, caliber 34 mm, and two frames with 7.65 pieces of pistol ammunition in illegal possession with RN (10) from Gusinje, and a criminal complaint was filed against him on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying weapons and explosive materials, it was reported from the Police Administration.
"Officials of the Regional Security Center 'North', as part of intensified activities to suppress illegal weapons and ammunition in the possession of citizens, deprived one person from Gusinje of his liberty.
The officers of the Security Department of Gusinje, in the town of Begluca, Gusinje Municipality, in accordance with the order of the court, searched the apartment and other premises used by RN (34) from Gusinje, during which they found a Zastava pistol, caliber 7.65 mm and two frames with 10 pieces pistol ammunition in illegal possession," the police said in a statement.
As it is added, the state prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Plav was informed about the event
"According to his order, a criminal complaint was filed against RN on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosive materials.
Police officers of the North Regional Security Center will continue with repressive measures and actions in the coming period in order to detect and prosecute all forms of illegal activities related to the illegal possession of weapons, ammunition and mine explosives," the statement concludes.
