The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica issued a statement in which they explained that the State Prosecutor has yet to make a decision in two cases - the case of the report by the director of the Directorate for Normative Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Iva Vukoslavčević, that she experienced violent behavior from the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Petar Koprivica, in his cabinet, but also according to Koprivica's report that a colleague allegedly falsely reported him for insults and violence.
The ODT stated that the decision will be made after the evidentiary actions in both cases have been carried out.
The prosecution's announcement came an hour after the Police Directorate expressly announced that in connection with the report filed by Vukoslavčević against the State Secretary, as well as Koprivica's report against her - the prosecutor in the ODT Podgorica "after inspecting and evaluating the files of the cases formed based on the report of the State Secretary, carried out a legal qualification of the criminal offense that the actions of director IV acquire the characteristics of the criminal offense of false reporting from Article 388 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro".
ODT Podgorica, as they stated, for the purpose of objectively informing the public, announced that the acting state prosecutor demanded from the Police Administration-Security Department Podgorica, the submission of the entire files of the cases formed upon the report of the director of the Directorate for Normative Affairs and Development against the State Secretary of the MUP.
"Also, we inform you that in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, a case will be formed based on the criminal complaint filed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs PK filed against the director of the Directorate for Normative Affairs and Development IV for the criminal offense of false reporting," the statement of the ODT states. .
The prosecutor of the ODT Podgorica, Maja Knežević, assigned the case - the report of Koprivica, who a few hours after the report, Vukoslavčević filed a report against her for false reporting.
She asked the UP to submit the files in the regular procedure in order to make a decision in the case, but also to submit the files of the application of Vukoslavčević to her.
On Tuesday, the Director of the Directorate for Normative Affairs filed a criminal complaint against the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Petar Koprivica, claiming that he belittled, insulted and even pushed her away in his office.
She stated that Koprivica lashed out at her with insulting words that "she will no longer be an assistant minister, that she is rude and other disparaging qualifications"...
When the Director of the Directorate replied that he could not talk to her in that way, Koprivica began, as she stated in the report, to shout at her, and then he grabbed her shoulders with both hands and pushed her roughly...
After "Vijesti" published the details of the application, the state secretary sent a statement via the official email of the Ministry of Interior that Vukoslavčević falsely reported him because he told her that "her position will end after the entry into force of the new job systematization".
He announced that she did it with the aim of "creating a false pre-election affair". "With indignation, I reject the allegations from Vukoslavčević's report, which is why I filed a report against her for false reporting," said Koprivica.
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Danilo Šaranović, did not comment on this occasion, and it is not known whether he will initiate disciplinary proceedings against Koprivica, since the director of the Directorate for Normative Affairs informed him in a letter that a colleague had shown violent and offensive behavior towards her, which according to the law on internal affairs - grave breach of official duty.
