A Russian citizen of the SR, for whom the Moscow Interpol issued an international warrant, was arrested at the Tivat airport.
"At the Tivat Airport border crossing, when he tried to leave Montenegro, officers of the Border Police Sector deprived a Russian citizen who is wanted at the international level of his freedom. Namely, he was deprived of his freedom from SR for whom the NCB Interpol Moscow issued an international warrant, in accordance with the order of the Court in Sochi, for the purpose of conducting criminal proceedings on suspicion of having committed a criminal offense of fraud for which a prison sentence of up to 10 years has been prescribed in the Russian Federation," the Police Directorate announced.
SR was brought before the investigating judge of the High Court in Podgorica.
