A high-class vehicle wanted by Interpol, which was driven by TZ (39), who is a member of an organized criminal group in Montenegro, was seized in Tivat, the police announced.
According to the knowledge of "Vijesti", it is Tamara Zvicer, the wife of the head of the Kavac criminal clan, Radoj Zvicer.
A misdemeanor report was also filed against her due to the suspicion that she committed a misdemeanor under the Customs Code of Montenegro, it was added.
"Officials of the Regional Security Center 'South' - Tivat Security Department, in the continuation of activities related to neutralizing the activities of high-risk criminal groups and mapping the assets of operationally interesting and related persons, seized an expensive high-class vehicle and prosecuted one person from Kotor.
Namely, in the town of Opatovo, Municipality of Tivat, police officers controlled a high-class vehicle, brand, 'Audi Q8', produced in 2023, with Czech license plates, which was driven by the person TZ (39), and which is kept in the records of the Police Administration as member of an organized criminal group in Montenegro.
By order of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor, the said vehicle was confiscated from the TZ with confirmation, for which, after expert reports and the exchange of data in the process of operational police cooperation, it was determined that certain parts of the vehicle had been mechanically repaired and the chassis number changed, i.e. that about forgery, and that in this way the vehicle was registered in another country, and the same vehicle was used by TZ in Montenegro," the statement of the Police Administration states.
The police said that through a check by NCB Interpol Podgorica, it was established that the mentioned vehicle is wanted internationally by Interpol and is on the list of stolen vehicles from December 19, 2023.
"The police officers of the Security Department of Tivat have collected information from TZ and further checks are underway in consultation and coordination with the acting state prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor, who will subsequently declare the qualification of the crime, while in addition to these activities, a misdemeanor report has also been filed against TZ due to the suspicion that she committed a violation from the Crain Act of Montenegro.
Considering that it is a criminal act, the said vehicle will be permanently confiscated from the person of TZ and will be returned to the owner through the modalities of international cooperation and in consultation with the state prosecutor's office," the statement concludes.
